How I work
Over the years i experienced a lot of different methods, canvasses or approaches. Now i can say, that there is no standardized or best way of working, solving tasks or finding solutions. Below are exemplary methods and practices that i regularly utilize.
To achieve optimum results, I will adapt to your needs, processes, requirements and workflows.
Conceptual models
What’s that?
A conceptual model serves as representation of a system we want to built. It consists of concepts used to help people know, understand, or simulate a subject the model represents. The benefit is, that people can understand (on an abstract level) how their system / product works. This is necessary, before adding new services or features in order to see whether their current system / product may be disturbed or must be adjusted.
Why concept modelling?
Imagine your product would be a game of chess. Now you want to introduce a new game piece (example: a juggler). You must understand the possible effects on the playing field, all other game pieces and their movements, the interconnections between all figures, who can capture our juggler etc. A concept model helps to evaluate and simulate these effects before developing and implementation. It also reduces the risks of overlooking hidden spots.
The concept model is not the set of rules! It is the “building blocks”, on which the set of rules and features are applied to.
